On Wednesday June 14th at 19:00 PDT we will be performing maintenance on Hosted Chef. Service is expected to be unavailable for 10 - 15 minutes.
As a result of investigations into system performance and increasing usage, we are upgrading capacity on our database systems. While we normally preform most upgrades on running systems to avoid impacting users, this process requires a brief cutover period during which we will stop traffic to eliminate any risk of data loss. During this maintenance you can expect the service to return HTTP 503 responses to traffic for 10 - 15 minutes after which all services should return to normal operation.
